  Day 01 Arrive Yangon

Arrive Yangon, welcomed by our tour guide and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
                 
Day 02 Yangon – Heho (by flight) – Pindaya - Kalaw

After Breakfast, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Heho. Arrive and drive (67 km – 2 hrs) to small quiet town PINDAYA, where sight-seeing highlights include the PINDAYA Caves, unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries. Then drive (48 km - 1 1/2 hours) to KALAW, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau, which is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions. Overnight at Hotel in Kalaw.

Day 03 Kalaw (Trekking to Palaung Village)

Take a half-a-day trekking trip outside of Kalaw for a small mountain village where one of the ethnic minority people known as Palaung live and practice the old traditional communal way of life. Return back to Kalaw.

Day 04 Kalaw – Inle Lake
    
After Breakfast, drive to NYAUNG SHWE ( 62 km / 2 hours ). Arrie and an excursion by boat on the lake will include sights of PHAUNG DAW OO Pagoda, wonderful floating garden / vegetation, FLOATING Islands, FLOATING Market, natives method of fishing and village life on the lake. Overnight at Hotel in Inle.

Day 05 Inle Lake

After an early breakfast, boat journey to the western shore of Inle Lake to visit the INN THEIN Pagoda complex, found after following a stair path lined up with magnificent columns. Explore the colourful market (on market day only) in Inn Thein. Continue on foot (about 2 hours) or by ox-drawn carriage (if available) to the U Daung Mountain range to visit the mountain monastery. Overnight at Hotel in Inle.

Day 06 Inle Lake – Heho – Kyaing Tong (by flight)

Transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to Kyaing Tong. Arrive and transfer to Hotel.
Sight seeing in Kyainge Tong starts with Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, housing Mandalay Style Buddha image. Proceed to Shan lacquerware. Tourist who are fond of lacquerware can purchase decirable lacquareware of high quality. Then visit Standing Buddha image, (the place where Kyainge Tong was founded about one thousand years ago), Hot Spa, Akha centre village and R.C.M church. Sunset on the One Tree Hill where a lone, 245 years old Kanyin-byu (Diptero carpus Spp) tree stands. The tree was planted by Alaungmintaya, the founder of Third Myanmar Empire. And then come back to the pottery village "Yan Gone" to observe the handicraft earthern pots of shan tribe. Overnight at Hotel in Kyaing Tong.

Day 07 Kyaing Tong

Breakfast at the hotel, take the car about 45 minutes for a hiking tour into the Pin Tauk area. Lush mixed monsoon forest with a view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge, green patchwork blanket. Visit the villages of Akha and Enn tribes. Some are haptized, some tribes still animists. The Enn are an ethnic group which tourists have found particularly interesting labelling them the “Black Teeth”. The walk is not difficult and can be done slowly. They live on the higher slopes. They have distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other tribes. It will take about 4 hours to visit the villages. Take luch at Pin Tauk water-fall. Late afternoon come back to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Kyaing Tong.

Day 08 Kyaing Tong

After breakfast drive appr.25 minute to Palaung tribe village (Wan Pauk). The Palaung tribe are known locally as "Silver" Palaungs. A branch of the same tribe, locally called "Gold" Palaung, live in Northerm Shan States. Three hours hiking from there is white Lahu villages, kunpe-1 and kunpe-2. White Lahu and Black Lahu are the same tribes. Trekking through forests, Valleys and gorges is very fascinating. Return to Kyainge Tong appr at 16.00.

Day 09 Kyaing Tong – Mandalay (by flight)

Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning visit to central market which bustles daily from 6 to 11:00 in the morning. The market offers products from China & Thailand, and also it has local traditional clothing, antique coins and other implements for sale making good souvenirs. Then proceed to Naung Tong lake and the Wat Jom Kham Pagoda, where sacred hair relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined in it. Legend says Wat Jom Kham dates to a visit by Gautama Buddha. It feature a tall gilded stupa topped by a gold umbrella inlaid with silver, rubies, diamonds, sapphires and jade and hung with gold tinny bells. Then transfer to Kyainge Tong Airport for domestic flight back to Mandalay. Arrive and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.                           

Day 10 Mandalay

sightseeing tour including MAHAMUNI Pagoda, with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, SHWE INBIN Monastery, one of the most outstanding monasteries in the country, SHWE NAN DAW KYAUNG or GOLDEN PALACE Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building, KUTHODAW Pagoda, known as the World Biggest Book for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures. Visit a traditional hand-woven silk workshop as well as a Kalaga tapestries craftsmen’s shop before proceeding to MANDALAY Hill, for sunset. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

Day 11 Mandalay – Bagan (by boat)

After breakfast, early start of boat journey on the AYEYARWADDY River to BAGAN. This downriver trip takes about 8 hours (depending on river condition, it might take longer). On arrival, transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Bagan.

Day 12 Bagan

After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing Bagan by visiting: Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built by King Anawrahta; Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha's masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture, Kyansitha Umin, Thatbyinnyu Temple - the highest building on the Bagan plain; and Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan. Lunch at a Restaurant. Evening visit to Lacquer-ware making home cottage; Manuha Temple; Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall paintings depicting scenes from the Jataka; and Dhamanyangyi Temple – the most massive temple of Bagan. Evening, visit Shwesandaw Pagoda or Bupaya to watch sunset.
Overnight at Hotel in Bagan.



Day 13 Bagan – Yangon (by flight)

Transfer to Bagan airport for domestic flight back to Yangon. Arrive and transfer to Hotel.
The afternoon tour of Yangon's city center featuring Chaukhtatgyi, a colossal reclining Buddha; Karaweik hall, a Royal barge on the Royal Lake and Bogyoke (Scott) market with hundreds of stall for souvenirs. End up the day with World famous Shwedagon Pagoda, the most venerable of all places of worship in South East Asia. Witness the golden dome light up with sunshine as the sunsets. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
 


Day 14 Departure

Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
