There
are two types of Myanmar - Burma Visa called EVT (FIT) and EVT (Package)
Visa. We encourage you to apply EVT (Package) visa. Please see as
follow: E.V.T (PACKAGE)
You can apply Myanmar (Burma) visa at Myanmar Embassy or consulate
with prior arrangements and confirmation from Travel Agencies in Myanmar.
This visa holders are not necessary to change USD200.- on arrival
in Yangon airport. 79 Travels & Tours will be providing a confirmation
letter to the Embassy for those clients who bought a tour from us
or those who bought a Myanmar hotel, transfers and one optional tour
or flight tickets together. To send a confirmation letter to you,
we need mainly Name, Valid Passport Number & Nationality.
E.V.T (F.I.T )
Also this Myanmar visa can apply at the
Myanmar Embassy abroad. Visa fee is USD20. Until August 2003, it is
necessary to change 200 USD into equivalent 200 FEC compulsorily.
But, now government relaxes it and those FIT visa holder also do not
need to change FEC 200 on arrival at the Yangon airport. But we strongly
recommend that those who bought the tour services from 79 Travels
& Tours to get the E.V.T Package visa by getting the visa letter
from our office. |

Procedure
of Myanmar Visa

Form 1 (Entry Visa / Business
Visa)
This is for the application of Package Tour Visa (Entry Visa),
or Business Visa. Please click

Form 2 (Entry Tourist Visa)
This is for the application of FIT Visa (Foreign
Independent Tourist Visa or Entry Tourist Visa). Please

What to do next
Please print two copies of one of either
form 1 or form 2. Print one copy of form 3. Then fill up both
2 copies (of either form 1 or form 2) and form 3. You will need
3 photos.
Send these three sheets of papers together with your valid passport,
visa fee and the return postage cost to the nearest Myanmar
embassy.
IMPORTANCE
Please
make a phone call to the Myanmar embassy first. Not all Myanmar
embassies will accept application of visa by post. Also please
make sure the mailing address of the embassy by calling direct
to the embassy.
The embassy, after stamping the appropriate visa in your passport,
will send you the followings:
- your passport with visa
- one copy of form 1 or 2, that you sent to them
- form 3 (report on arrival form) that you sent to them
You have to deliver the form 1 or 2 together with form 3 at
the immigration section on arrival Myanmar.
Myanmar - Burma Visa On Arrival
For those travelers who live at the countries
where Myanmar Embassies or Consulates do not exist or who do
not have time to apply visa at the Myanmar Embassies, we will
arrange Myanmar - Burma visa on arrival. The information of
the clients are needed:
1. Clients full name and Passport numbers.
2. Date of issue and place of issue.
3. Date of expire.
4. Father's name.
5. Date of Birth and place of birth.
6. Occupation.
7. Home address.
8. Nationality.
9. 2 recent photos size photographs (can send by email to ***@*****).
10. Countries for passport valid.
We need at least 7 days prior before your
arrival and it is better and quicker on arrival if the agent
or client can send us the photos by mail or DHL in advance.
Visa fee is USD 20 and our service charge is USD 20.
Myanmar - Burma E-Visa Online
As the latest development,
you can now apply e-visa online at www.visa.gov.mm
website. The visa fee is USD 30 per person and you can pay cash
on arrival at the airport to immigration department. |
